This week the music world lost one of the truly great voices-Etta James. She was best known for the song “At Last”-but if that’s all you know her for-you need to broaden your musical horizons…If you can handle it, I recommend buying the 2 CD set The Essential Etta James, from her days at Chess Records. That will get you grounded in her great work-but there’s so much more….

Here are the forms that you’ll need to get your team entered into this years Blue Note Open-Indoor winter golf fun(d)raiser…Here are links for the the Team Captains Letter, Team Entry Form, and Basic Rule Sheet that needs to be signed by the team captain and returned with the completed Team Form and entry fees.

There are two different options for these forms, google doc link, or pdf file format-use which ever one works best for you…

The start and finish point is The Casino Starlight, 20th & Cedar in Quincy. Registration is supposed to open at 12:30, and the event kicks off at 1pm (though if you get there a little early-we’ll do our best to get your team going early-maybe you can get in ALL the holes)

A couple things to share with you…On the Team Captains letter that we sent out-I made a mistake on Chris’ Phone number…It’s 217-430-XXXX NOT 217-440-XXXX…I apologize for this to the poor person who’s now recieving calls on this event that they know nothing about-we have apologized to him and also warned him…
