Thanks for another great "Can Jam!"

4 May

We here at the MMMWBS would like to thank all the folks that helped out at this year’s “Can Jam”. Thanks to the folks at Turner Hall for having us (truly a great venue for music), of course-THE BANDS-THE FUNIONS, THE CHEESEBURGERS, AND RAISED ON RADIO! You all did a great job, and we were very well entertained throughout the afternoon. We also want to thank all the businesses who donated goods and services, the Volunteers-who make it all happen! and of course-all the folks who gave up a beautiful Sunday afternoon-to help out a good cause! We ended up collecting a big table full of canned goods, and we also handed over $200 to The Bethel A.M.E. Church’s Food Pantry-and they were very excited about this event. They thanked us for giving them this blessing, ad we were happy to do so. This event is for our Community-we do it as a way to give something back. And we look forward to doing this every year, and we look forward to the “Can Jam” every year! Thanks again everyone!
