A Big THANKS for a great 2012 BLUE NOTE OPEN!

We here at the MMMWBS would like to take a moment to thank everyone who was a part of this year’s BLUE NOTE OPEN Indoor Golf FUNdraiser. We had a real blast, and raised funds to support this years Blues in the Schools Program, and the Blues Society.

We’d like to thank all of our golf teams-there were some great team t-shirts, and costumes this year. You can go to facebook, and look at this years page-2012 Blue Note Open for some of the pics from this year. A big thanks goes to the additional bars who hosted some real imaginative golf holes, and took some of the pressure off of everyone getting in their nine holes in by 6:30pm. And thanks to this years volunteers, and our event chairman-Chris Cowen for once again doing a great job coordinating everything. And last-BUT NOT LEAST-A BIG THANK YOU TO STARADIO FOR AIRING ALL OF THE COMMERCIAL SPOTS FOR THE EVENT!

We’ve been at this for years now, and we’re continuously trying to improve the event. We made some big changes this year-with more golf holes available for play, and MORE PRIZE MONEY TO GOLFERS! We’ve recieved great positive feedback for this-we know that the winners loved winning some cash, and also everyone appreciated the extra golf holes to help meet the 6:30pm deadline for prize entry. We’ve already working on areas to improve on for 2013, and the tentative date for 2013 is FEBRUARY 9th 2013-the Saturday AFTER the Super Bowl (which will be Feb 3rd 2013).  We hope to see you back next year, and bring even more teams along for the fun!

If you’re not signed up for the BLUE NOTE OPEN on this Saturday and you want in..Just go to the Latest Updates Section on this Page, and download your forms, get them filled out and ready for Saturday, and bring them with you, and that will help get things going smoother for you…We still have room for more teams, we just like to have as many teams prepaid as possible-so we can have them ready for a quick check-in and start as possible. But we’ll do our best to make things happen as fast as we can on Saturday to get everyone on there way! See ya there!

I just wanted to let everyone know how we are coming along for the upcoming BLUE NOTE OPEN, to be held on SAT. FEB. 11th here in town.

As I write this-we have 11 holes confirmed, with the possibility of one or two at the most additional to be added before the event. We will start and finish at The Casino Starlite at 20th & Cedar. We hope to have the doors open at noon, registration at 12:30, and official start time is 1pm. (though-as soon as we’re ready to go-teams that have registered and have scorecards in hand can get started…)  Here’s who we have signed up so far:

Every team is invited to play ALL of the holes, BUT-if you want to qualify your team the chance to win a cash prize, REMEMBER-we will need to have your team scorecard turned into the BNO Staff BY 6:30pm with at least 9 HOLES COMPLETED by all of your team members to be entered into the Winner’s Drawing, where 5 Teams will win a $100 Prize!

This is how it stands for the moment, if there’s any additions-I’ll update this post…NOTE-for entry forms, they can be found here on the homepage. They are found either farther down this page, or on the right side of the page in the LATEST UPDATES SECTION. Please get your entry forms in the mail by Friday Feb. 3rd, or just bring them with you on the day of the event-we’ll take as many teams as we can on the day of the event.

 NOTE-we do reserve the right to cut off registration if we feel we have reached a maximum capacity of teams, to be determined by the event chair, and the staff  of the Blue Note Open…
